NDIS FAQs
Do I have to have NDIS funding to be able to be seen by Explore and Soar?
+
Explore and Soar accepts clients with or without NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) funding. It’s essential to discuss your specific situation with us to determine the options available for your child’s therapy services.
We do not charge a different rate for NDIS clients or private clients.
^
How can I start an NDIS plan, and what requirements are needed?
+
To start an NDIS plan, you must be eligible for NDIS funding based on your child’s disability and support needs. Contact the NDIS directly or visit their website for information on eligibility and the application process.
^
Why do I need to provide my child’s NDIS plan?
+
Explore and Soar may need your NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) plan to understand the funding and support allocated to your child’s therapy. This helps us tailor your services to meet your child’s specific needs and goals, the dates your plan is active, and how you are funded, such as self-managed, plan-managed or NDIA-managed.
^
How do service agreements work, and why do we need them?
+
Service agreements outline the terms and conditions of the therapy services provided by Explore and Soar. They are essential to ensure clarity, expectations and responsibilities for the service provider and the participant (child or family).
^
How do I sign the service agreements?
+
The signing process for service agreements will be completed electronically by the website SignNow for digital signatures. A physical copy may be provided for signing if a digital copy can not be completed.
^
Why do we need the plan manager’s details?
+
Your plan manager’s details may be needed to coordinate billing and payment processes related to NDIS-funded services. This ensures that invoices are correctly submitted for reimbursement.
^
Why do we need an NDIS review report or letter?
+
NDIS review reports or letters are essential to assess the progress and effectiveness of the therapy services. They may be required to demonstrate the need for continued funding and support under the NDIS. They are required at the end of each NDIS plan.
